About the course

Motivational Interviewing is a style of communicating about behavior change.

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to: Identify seven types of change talk; Utilize strategies to resolve client discord; Progress through an MI-style of conversation using four tasks: engaging, focusing, evoking, planning; Identify when to counsel with neutrality (equipoise); and demonstrate MI skills through practice dyads.
